Browse, install, and remove mods and plugins from Modrinth directly from your server dashboard — no manual file uploads required.
Mods are only available on templates built for them. Today that means the Paper template (plugins) and the Forge template (mods). If your server uses a different template, the Mods section explains how to switch.

Plugins vs. Mods
The template your server runs decides which kind of add-on it installs:

The Mods section only shows Modrinth results compatible with your template's loader, so you won't see Forge mods on a Paper server or vice versa.
Accessing Mods
- Go to your server dashboard
- Click Mods in the sidebar
- Switch between Browse (search Modrinth) and Installed (manage what's on the server)
Permission Requirements

Only members with Write or Admin access to files can install or remove mods. Read-access members can still browse and see what's installed.
