Join Page

The join page is a public page for your server. Share one link and players can see your server's address, whether it is online, who is playing and which mods to install, without signing in to Plex Host.

Each page lives at a link you choose:

https://host.plex.gg/join/<your-link>

Turning It On

Open your server and click Settings
Find the Join page card
Turn on Public join page

Turning on the join page makes your connect address public. Anyone with the link can see it and join your server.

Then fill in the rest of the card:

Link - the last part of your page address. Use 3 to 40 lowercase letters, numbers and dashes. The field tells you whether the link is available, is already yours, is taken or is reserved.
Tagline - a short line under your server name, up to 140 characters.
Discord invite - optional. Use a discord.gg or discord.com/invite link. No other links are accepted.
Show who's online - shows the player count only. Player names are never shown.
Show mods and plugins - lists what is installed on the server. Mod servers also get a modpack download.

Click Save changes to publish your edits.

What Visitors See

Status - Online, Starting or Offline
Server address - with a Copy button. Paste it into your game's server list. A Bedrock note asks players on phones, consoles or Windows to use the same address and enter the number after the colon as the port.
Players online - the current count, such as 3 / 20 online. The count is sampled about every minute and shows how long ago it was taken. It is hidden when the sample is more than five minutes old.
Discord button - appears when you added an invite
Mods or plugins - the list of what is installed. Mod servers show "You need these to join." Plugin servers show "These run on the server. Nothing to install."

Modpacks for Mod Servers

Servers running Forge, Fabric, NeoForge or Quilt also offer Download modpack (.mrpack). Visitors can import it into:

Modrinth App - click +, choose From file, pick the downloaded .mrpack, launch the profile and add the server address.
Prism Launcher - click Add Instance, choose Import, pick the downloaded .mrpack, launch the instance and add the server address.

The modpack contains only mods from the catalog. If the server has files that are not in the catalog, the mods card says how many, and those files are left out of the modpack.

On the Join page card:

Open page - opens your public page
Copy link - copies the full page address to your clipboard

When you share the link in Discord, a link preview shows the server name and status.

Turning It Off

Turn off Public join page and save. The page stops showing your address and details, and visitors see a "This page is not available" message. Your link is kept, so turning the page back on later brings it back at the same address.

When an Admin Turns It Off

The platform can disable a join page that breaks the rules. A disabled page stays off until an admin restores it. The Join page card shows that an admin turned it off and gives the reason.
